ON

S.T. (Bologna) si compone di due momenti complementari che alternano l'installazione temporanea sotto l'arco di via dei Bibiena alla performance ambulante: per le strade del centro cittadino un uomo porta in giro un’aureola come un manifestante il suo cartellone. Un oggetto attraverso cui il miracoloso e la santità si rendono manifesti, mentre un’altra aureola immobile e senza santo, illumina le teste dei passanti nell'arco di via dei Bibiena. L'aureola, costruita da artigiani pugliesi con la stessa tecnica delle luminarie, è un elemento fragile e allo stesso tempo mistico e spirituale. Portata come un trofeo in giro per la città, o appesa in alto ad altezza testa in mezzo ad un vicolo di passaggio, ridisegna, per un attimo, il destino e il ruolo di chiunque si trovi a passare lì sotto.
 

S.T. (Bologna) is made of two linked moments: a walking performance and the temporary installation under the archway in Via dei Bibiena.
A man carries a halo along the streets of the town centre, like a demonstrator with his banner. The object he carries is a manifestation of miraculous and holiness, whereas another halo, still and with no Saint, illuminates the heads of the passersby under the archway of Via Bibiena. The halo was handcrafted by Italian artisans in the “luminarie” style. Fragile, mystic and spiritual at the same time, either carried as a trophy around town or suspended over a passerby head in the middle of the alley, for a moment the halo redesigns the role and destiny of the person walking under it.
